Lymphatic Drainage Therapy:
Based on the life work of Dr. Emil Vodder. The third most prescribed bodywork technique in the world, and the most prescribed form of de-congestive therapies in Europe, this modality is vital for the reversal of more than 80 pathological conditions including sinusitis, headaches, bronchitis, surgery recovery, edema, etc. related to a compromised auto-immune system. A light, powerful, and effective way to return the lymph system to proper functioning.

This 40 hour course includes the techniques for treating the lymph nodes and lymph-angions of the neck, face, chest, arms, legs, back, and buttocks, which you will practice on each other in lab. Advanced techniques for lymphoedema and cancer are not covered in this course.

Neuro-Muscular Therapy:
Based on the application and knowledge of Dr. Leon Chiatow, Paul St. John, and Jeanne Aland, NMT or Neuro-Muscular Therapy is actually the lifework of Dr. Janet Travell, (physician to former President John F. Kennedy) in her monumental work: MYOFASCIAL PAIN AND DYSFUNCTION: The Trigger Point Manual. Instead of viewing the trigger points as cortisone injection sites, the sources of ischemia and tissue tonicity are balanced by precise finger pressure techniques which include resisted stretching to release the muscles. Massage of origin and insertion sites of the muscles (the golgi tendon apparatus) change posture distortions, muscle pain and fatigue instantly and profoundly.

This 80 hour course will teach you the full range of protocols to treat the entire body, which you will practice in lab. You will customize the techniques into eight entirely different 1 1/2 hour sessions for application as a whole or in part depending upon your patient’s needs.

Cranio-Sacral Therapy:
Based on the lifework of Dr. John Upledger, MD, neurosurgeon, and former professor at the University of Michigan, this work is also taught in its fully expanded form in 7 parts of 40 hours each through the Updledger Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida. This course is an introduction to Cranio-Sacral Therapy and you will learn a vital and tremendously valuable 10 Step Protocol as part of your studies. Dr. Upledger based this work on the life of Dr. William Sutherland, who discovered that the bones of the skull were structure to allow for movement and cranial osteopathy was born.

This 40 hour course will demonstrate in both scientific and practical terms, the hydraulic forces inherent in the cranio-sacral system. These forces are explained and illustrated, with plenty of time for you to practice the techniques. This system improves your body’s internal environment, and strengthens its ability to heal itself. It also allows for the release of traumatic memories stored within the central nervous system.
